When Laney was my student in massage school, she was competent, but unsure of her skills, and lacked self confidence. Upon her graduation, she signed up to work the Chicago Marathon in conjunction with the medical staff. That first year with the medical team, I was very worried she would panic under the pressure of an athlete cramping and she would be responsible for resolving their cramp. I assigned her to an area with several more experienced therapists and hoped for the best. After that first marathon was over, her immediate massage supervisor said "she started slow, but came on strong as she started to realize she did know how to work with the athletes. And the more athletes she worked on, the more confident she became.
Fast track forward about 5 years.
At the 2014 Chicago Marathon, the coordinator for the massage team assigned the Medical Tent at the half way point of the race could not be attend this year. That job was reassigned to Elena Aragon because of her experience, her confidence in her skills, and my confidence in her to help the new massages therapist get over their fears and lack of confidence, just as she did several years earlier. I now have a great deal of respect and confidence in Laney Marie.

I’ve been seeing Laney for over seven years now and I am still in awe of the evolution of both her and her practice.
In the beginning, Laney was an amazing massage therapist. Her knowledge of human physiology was second to none. Whether I had a neck injury, or a tight back, or a sore knee - it was clear her training and her intuition worked in a special kind of harmony. There were times I didn’t even explain where I had issues and some force guided her hands to the exact spots I hadn’t realized needed attention.
Then as time went on, Laney began incorporating several new techniques into our sessions. Deep tissue and fascial release, manual lymphatic drainage, craniosacral therapy, and reiki. It was all just part of the flow. It felt like I was receiving six different incredible treatments in just one session.
Most therapists would have stopped there, but not Laney. She began exploring breathwork, past life regression, ancestral traditions, and things I can’t even begin to explain. When she first told me she wanted to incorporate some of what she had learned into our sessions I was completely blind to this world. But I trusted her and with her guidance I decided to open myself up.
It was an extraordinarily wonderful experience. My session lasted six hours but for some reason felt no longer than two. All of the modalities I previously described were used but so, so much more. I shed layer after layer after layer. Physical, emotional, psychological - all energy that was no longer needed sent back into the universe through her. I was very present the entire time but at the same time so many other places. I was even blessed to have a few of my spiritual guides come through with messages that continue to mean more and more to me every day.
What an incredible thing it is to experience the touch of someone who was put on this earth to be a true healer. So much light, so much love.
Whether you’re already on your journey or you’re looking to begin, I highly recommend working with Laney. We all deserve to experience this kind of healing and to feel like this.

Laney is truly gifted and found her calling in life. I have been a very happy client of Laney for years and she is the best massage therapist I've ever had. Massage is one of the greatest gifts I give myself, though more of a health service than a luxury, it feels luxurious in a nurturing self-care way. The massages I've received from her have both released the stuck fascia from activity strain or mild injuries and left my body feeling relaxed and free of pain. Each one has been equally wonderful, in it's own way. I cannot recommend her too highly.

Spirit guided me to Laney at the exact right time in my life. I did a 5hr. session that included Craniosacral Therapy, Ancestral Healing, and three levels of massage. Before the session I had a lot of negative thoughts and anxieties around self doubt that at times caused me to not be present in my life because I was in my head instead of my body. After the session I noticed a shift in my inner dialogue and a lot of the doubt and anxiety was replaced by positive thinking that put my mind and body more at ease and increased by ability to stay present.

I have had a few massages from Laney that were AMAZING, but Laney’s Cranial Sacral sessions are where it’s at. . I don’t know how to put into words the effect that they had on my healing journey. Laney creates a safe space to address things from your past that no longer serve you. She gets right in there with you and makes you feel seen. I had never experienced a remote healing session or craniosacral work before I met Laney. Her professionalism exceeds that of most individuals, and this is demonstrated in the conversations that always occur before a session begins. She always asks how I am doing and what is happening in my life that needs some focus and energetic attention. Miss Laney is absolutely amazing with her remote ancesteral clearing technique. I was recommended through amazing woman. First we talked over the phone about what I was hoping to accomplish. I have done clearing meditations on my own time only to feel like the work was not complete and short term.... This is absolutely not the case in my experience with Laney! I explained to her that alcoholism runs in my family and abuse which presented it's self as everyone being emotionally distant and unavailable. Recognizing this pattern I decided it was my turn to start changing the game in my future family and in myself. She said she could help!
Our session was so beautiful. I relaxed laying down in my own home and she began the work with me. She has THE gift when it comes to energy, gentle and precise. I felt the energy move through me gently disentangling blocks and my "sandbags" around my ankles. She took the time to really help me with my heart chakra which was extremely effected through my life experiences. It was so beautiful, I felt an amazing reassurance that I am tuning into my I AM being and doing this scared work.
I am currently writing about this months later and I'm happy to report that from this session I feel like I am more available to tune into me, ME, more fluidly and not into my family drama. Also, my father whose always gone out drinking now is finding that there's more than the next drink! It's truly amazing. Our relationship is still reconnecting, and I feel like we are making more genuine heart to heart connections. I cannot thank Laney enough for the work she is doing. Definitely recommend! There's been an immediate shift along with the gradual integration over these past few months...so many revelations and understanding. Bless you Laney, your dedication is my blessing. Thank you

I have had the pleasure of receiving several healing sessions from Laney. The combination of craniosacral therapy combined with Reiki was absolutely wonderful, helping my physical body to unwind, my mind to calm down and the energy to flow more freely throughout my being. I would highly recommend her services for anyone experiencing a life transition, working through old issues or anyone who is feeling run-down and needs some help getting back to their best self.
